Forced together on a trip from Manhattan to Rhode Island, a father and son attempt to renew their bond over lobster, cigarettes, and a buried secret. I read a beautiful book which was memorable and special. Winter Bloom byTara Heavey. Many thanks.

This sounds like a fascinating collection of short stories with themes so many readers can relate to. The most recent collection of short stories I read is The Springs of Affection by Maeve Brennan. I absolutely loved them. She a now deceased writer who worked for The New Yorker for years. Some of the stories are based on her friends and family and in many she uses the same characters.

Thank you for this fantastic giveaway!
